Haily wins RM32.7 million residential project for IOI Properties’ township
The contract involves 186 single-storey terrace houses in Kulai
KULAI, 15 March 2023 — Construction specialist Haily Group Berhad (“Haily” or “Group”) bagged a RM32.66 million construction contract from Nice Frontier Sdn Bhd (“Nice Frontier”), a member of IOI Properties Group Berhad, to build 186 residential units for the Bandar Putra township within Iskandar Malaysia. This contract, which is the third job clinched by the Group this year, brings the total contract value of its ongoing projects to RM657.87 million.
Haily’s wholly subsidiary, Haily Construction Sdn Bhd, had on 10 March 2023 received a Letter of Award from JYP Architects Sdn Bhd, an architect appointed by Nice Frontier for the construction of 186 units of single-storey terrace houses and 1 unit of Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s sub-station.
The houses, each measuring 24’ x 75’, will be located in Bandar Putra, Mukim of Senai, District of Kulai in the state of Johor. The contract will commence on 27 March 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in 15 months by 26 June 2024.

Earlier in November 2021, Haily has bagged a RM14.57 million community housing project in Kulai from Nice Frontier. The contract involved the construction and completion of 216 strata townhouses measuring 20’ x 60’ each.
Haily has been actively winning several key contracts since the gradual recovery of Malaysian economy from COVID-19, putting it at the forefront among Johor’s top contractors.
Contracts bagged by the Group since its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 21 July 2021 include amongst others, a RM24.00 million contract for construction of 159 landed residences from Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd; a RM24.50 million contract awarded by Mah Sing Group Berhad’s subsidiary to build 155 double-storey terrace houses for the Meridin East township; a RM27.21 million contract for construction of 176 landed residences from Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd; a RM23.70 million residential project awarded by Factor Synergy Sdn Bhd in Kluang, Johor; a RM40.67 million contract for 99 units of 3-storey shop offices in Tebrau, Johor from Austin Senibong Development Sdn Bhd; a RM41.28 million contract from Country View Resources Sdn Bhd for the construction of 121 units of 2-storey link villas in Aurora Sentral, Pulai, Johor; a RM17.50 million contract awarded by Mah Sing Group Berhad’s subsidiary to build 108 landed residences in Parcel 2H3 of the Meridin East township; a RM52.30 million contract for the construction of 283 two-storey terrace houses for Mah Sing Group Berhad’s subsidiary in Parcel 1C of the Meridin East township; a RM37.85 million contract from Austin Senibong Development Sdn Bhd to construct 77 units of three-storey shop offices within the Crest@Austin project and a RM78.28 million contract for construction of 262 units of residential properties in Pontian, Johor from Gadang Holdings Berhad’s subsidiary, Mandy Corporation Sdn Bhd.
The Group is principally a main contractor involved in constructing residential and non-residential buildings in the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia, particularly Johor. It also provides construction machinery for rental purposes.
